Spirit of Seva Project

In Sanskrit the word "Seva" means compassionate Service

In the Spirit of Seva, the Source Point Institute is dedicated to ensuring that affordable treatment and training is accessible to the residents of the eastern shore of Maryland.

In many cultures around the world there is a practice of giving service from the heart. Giving to another person with no expectation of personal gain (Seva) benefits the giver as well as the receiver. Such acts of compassionate service demonstrate how we are connected to all beings and share in their well-being. We believe that this kind of selfless service promotes a spirit of authenticity, honesty, integrity, and generosity that is deeply needed in the world.
